Help Us Eradicate Drowning
In the U.S., there are over 4,000 unintentional drowning deaths annually — roughly 11 per day across all ages.
Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury death for children ages 1–4.
For kids ages 5–14, drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death (behind vehicle crashes).
For every child who dies from drowning, an estimated 7–8 children receive emergency care after a non‑fatal drowning.
